Southwest Commercial Builders began with a simple idea: bring together seasoned professionals who share a passion for building and a commitment to integrity. Rooted in Arizona and licensed across six Southwestern states, our company evolved from a partnership of leaders with deep construction backgrounds. Our professionals have spent decades managing complex projects across healthcare, multifamily, municipal, industrial, education, and hospitality sectors.
What began as a regional general contracting firm has grown into a trusted construction partner known for its dependability, personal service, and technical expertise. Our leadership team led by lifelong builders Seth Simmons and Gino Camilleri, has built a reputation for doing what we say we’ll do: delivering projects on time, on budget, and above expectations.
Our mission is to build lasting relationships through quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and collaborative solutions. We measure success not only by the structures we complete but by the trust and satisfaction of our clients who return to build with us again.

Seth Simmons
With over 30 years in construction, Seth has owned and operated several companies, including Southwest Design Build for over 10 years and Southwest Facility Maintenance. He has successfully managed multi-user and multi-location projects for repeat clientele, as well as complex stand-alone builds. Seth provides leadership for staff and operations, along with direction for all design-build, program management, project management, condition assessment services, and construction processes at Southwest Commercial Builders.
He brings a unique understanding of design, permitting, and city review processes, knowledge gained through years of design-build experience, combined with deep expertise in construction administration and execution.
In his spare time, Seth enjoys restoring old trucks and often participates in or hosts “ratrod” events across the region.

Gino brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in the construction industry to Southwest Commercial Builders. He began his career in residential construction before moving into the commercial market (particularly in healthcare) where he worked as a project and construction manager. Later, as a Senior Project Manager and Estimator for multifamily projects, Gino led numerous pre-construction and full-scope builds before transitioning to operations, where he continues to guide project teams in the field.
With his extensive field and operations experience, Gino knows what it takes to build successful teams focused on client satisfaction. His primary goal is to ensure clients receive the highest-quality service and that every project meets and exceeds their expectations.
Outside of work, Gino enjoys time with his wife and two daughters and embraces all that life has to offer.

Bill Santoro brings more than 30 years of construction experience to his role as Chief Estimator. His background spans field supervision, project management, and estimating, and he previously owned a concrete company, experience that deepened his understanding of business management and cost control.
Bill’s comprehensive experience gives him a keen ability to assess biddability and constructability with precision. Known for his integrity and fairness, he maintains strong relationships with subcontractors, often resulting in preferred pricing and reliable project outcomes.
He is active with the American Society of Certified Professional Estimators and holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Nebraska, along with numerous certifications from the Construction Estimating Institute.
Outside the office, Bill enjoys traveling, family activities, and coin collecting. His proudest professional moments come when projects are delivered under budget and ahead of schedule.

Born in Goodland, Kansas, Doug has lived in Arizona since 1989. With over 20 years of construction experience, he has worked with Southwest Design Build and now with Southwest Commercial Builders for more than three years. Doug’s dual role in estimating and project management involves preparing bid packages and managing projects from concept to completion.
Having previously owned his own business and worked as a superintendent, foreman, and carpenter, Doug brings a well-rounded skill set that supports accurate estimating and successful project outcomes.
He’s also an avid golfer and a self-taught JAVA programmer who once reduced his handicap from 20 to 8.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Juan Carlos holds a degree in Civil Engineering with advanced studies in Project Management. With over 30 years of experience in construction, he serves Southwest Commercial Builders as a Superintendent and Project Engineer.
His past experience includes overseeing the adaptation and reconstruction of more than 400 gas stations, completing a gas processing plant, and managing both offshore and onshore pipelines. This diverse background makes him well-suited to handle complex and straightforward projects alike.
Outside of work, Juan Carlos enjoys the gym, biking, traveling, kayaking, and relaxing at the beach. He values family above all and takes pride in the life and education he has provided for his children.

Robert MacEachern, New Biz Development
As VP of New Business Development Robert leverages his hospitality and Retail background to build trust, anticipate client needs, and create long-term value. He excels at relationship building, market development, strategic partnerships, and uncovering opportunities across multiple verticals.
With the uncommon combination of hospitality expertise, real estate awareness, operational depth, and commercial strategy, Robert brings a high-impact, people-first approach to driving growth as VP of Business Development.
His Navy experience further shapes his leadership style - disciplined, accountable, team-oriented, and mission-driven.

Jennifer Kirby, Business Administrator
Born in Lancaster, California, and raised in Arizona, Jennifer has overseen office management, HR, accounting, and contract administration for Southwest Design Build and now Southwest Commercial Builders for over eight years. With her ABA and upcoming SHRM certification, she brings strong organizational and process improvement skills to the team.
Her proactive mindset and ability to quickly master new methods have been instrumental in streamlining operations for a growing company.
Jennifer considers her children her greatest accomplishment and once raced dirt track cars as a teen, proof that she’s driven both personally and professionally.
